At Camp Niwana, we are proud to have served campers from across East Texas for over 70 years. From Woodville to Lufkin, Nacogdoches to Lumberton, Beaumont to Orange and Port Arthur, our camp has welcomed generations of young people from all walks of life.

Our sprawling 60-acre property is nestled in the heart of East Texas and boasts two beautiful lakes, perfect for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking, as well as an Olympic-sized swimming pool, where campers can cool off during the hot Texas summers. Our property provides a safe and exciting environment for kids from grades K-12 to explore and learn new skills.

We offer a diverse range of activities that cater to all interests, from sports like basketball, soccer, and archery, to creative pursuits such as arts and crafts, cooking, and dance. We also offer more adventurous activities, such as hiking, trailblazing, canoeing, and fishing, where campers can explore and discover the natural beauty of the East Texas woods.

But Camp Niwana is more than just a place to play and learn new skills. It's a place where campers can build lifelong friendships and create memories that will last a lifetime. Our team of experienced counselors and instructors provide a supportive and nurturing environment where campers can build confidence and self-esteem. We believe in fostering an environment where every camper feels included and can be themselves.

Our goal is to help each camper develop new skills, make lifelong friends, and create lasting memories. We host week-long sessions throughout the summer, where campers can immerse themselves in the camp experience and create unforgettable memories. Our campers stay in cozy cabins, each with a dedicated counselor who helps to facilitate the camp experience and provide guidance and support to campers throughout their stay.
